Art, we are in your corner and appreciate all you've given us as well as the world and we wish you nothing but happiness as YOU define it. And all the best to Airyn!

Either way you look at it, his behavior is, well, just not normal.
Even if you don't villify the guy, he's just not acting in a way that most of us think IS "normal."
Cody, I agree. It's not normal. It's paranormal.

Shadow Creature Encounter
This happened about two years ago in October. I'm not sure of the date, but it has haunted me ever since. I was lying in my bedroom, which is in the basement of the house. The room is rectangular-shaped and my bed was against the long windowless side wall. Across the room are two windows on the opposite wall.
I was watching TV and all of the sudden I couldn't move. I was paralyzed and I could see in the corner of the room next to the second window a 6-ft 5-in black shadow. As I looked more at it, I could see it had eyes that were glowing red. Then, it flew at me! It looked like it had bat wings and a triangular face. I started hearing this evil witch's laugh that lasted for a good five minutes. I tried to scream, but I couldn't.
It went back to the corner of the room and stared at me for a minute. It raised its hand up to its face as to do a 'SHHHH' movement, then disappeared and my scream came out. At first the creature was hazy like a shadow, but the more I looked at it the more defined it became. Its arms looked like human arms but with really long nails. Its wings came around the front of it as to look like a coat.

I think I still have sleep paralysis quite frequently, although it is probably a very mild and non-severe form that doesn't seem to be causing any problems worth pursuing.

It used to happen to me though. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to move. I wouldn't even be able to talk.
Hasn't happened recently though. Which is nice.

No, because you can't experience yourself in any way but the first person. So even IF you changed bodies (the only indicator, assuming you had the same thoughts and memories or even NO memories) your own frame of reference would always be as "you" relating to the world.

I really don't think he is a chronic post and runner, he usually participates a great deal in his own threads, especially those about the latest scare.
What is the big deal about this so-called posting and running thing anyway? If somebody can create a fun or interesting thread, who cares how much they choose to participate in it?
I think where posting and running does apply is if somebody asks a question, and in order for this person to be helped they need to answer follow-up questions which they don't stick around to answer. This is mostly discourteous.
Abe never asks for help though, so this doesn't apply... he already has everything figured out... at least about the latest threats and the usual stuff he is obsessed with at that moment

I had a Russian woman contacting me once. She wanted $200 for a plane ticket and she will "arrive to me" in two days. The punchline - she didn't even know what state I lived in. I told her that I wanted an Asian woman from a little farther east, and that I have an extreme anal sex fetish.
I waited a week.
Then I sent her an email. It bounced right back to me, she had canceled her account.
Could have been true love, just like what this Art Bell fellow has (I just laughed a bit inside), just a different girl from a different country and me instead of him, yeah, just like that.

If a woman looks like a man but is really a woman and you like how she looks and love her why would her appearance be an issue?
Unless you actually put the opinion of OTHERS before your own taste and preferences?
Point is that Mr. Bell's wife is 27. If you think she looks younger, that's got nothing to do with anything. They love each other and if you are prejudiced against women who look like that then that's your problem.
Or maybe you like the *ahem* mature women?
She looks like a lovely person. You like?

Dude, I can appreciate the liking inappropriately young chicks thing — but a woman as much younger than me as this chica is compared to Art Bell will not even be a gleam in her father's eye for another twenty-something years. Marrying somebody with that kind of age gap is all kinds of creepy.
Let's put it this way: I'm about her age, and Art is around my grandparents' age. I cannot imagine marrying one of my grandmother's friends.

Inappropriately young?
You are at odds with the law. The law says she's appropriate.
I can't imagine being friends with someone having your sensibilities, but I'm sure you have friends.
Look in the mirror and see what is a sign of liberalism run amuck. No one is asking you to marry your grandmother's friend.

He isn't into liking underage gals. Because those are the only inappropriate young chicks.

The law has as much to do with propriety as a cookbook does with repairing a jet engine.

Yeah, and they also think it's weird to marry somebody half a century older than you. If two people with that kind of gap have anything in common, there is something bizarre about one or both of them.

It's far more likely that two guys who are otherwise the same as any other couple will be compatible than two people separated by several generations.

Nonsense. Probably equally as likely.
For example I know a guy that grew up in the 70s, that is dating someone that grew up in the 90s.
Just so happens she likes movies, music, culture etc from the 70s.
They get a long just fine. He is 42, she is 22.

So, you are declaring yourself to be in opposition to the laws?

That attitude is as hopelessly bigoted as a person can have. Revel in it. There are few people around who still harbor that kind of bigotry. Or few people who have the 'Michael Richards' in them to express it openly.

Of course you can't see yourself clearly. The sign of liberalism is that because you have a bias against May-December marriages you think it is wrong for everyone.
Wait a minute.
You are just playing around with me because you know of my relationship with Abe.
Gotcha.

You know the last few posts you've made have been about Abe. Even when the topic isn't about him.
I am beginning to think YOU want to be Abe's friend with benefits.

Occam's Razor has it; simple = most likely.
Romona = tough, old, haggard, tired pee-pee.
Airyn = nice, new, young, soft pee-pee.

But Clinton eventually did have to tell us...
Let's hear the truth from you Marden, or do we have to put you on trial like we did Clinton?
For starters, what is your real name? Are you Burt Bacharach? Who are you sleeping with, Abe or Mojo2? Or maybe Kevin or Railroader? Are you Cody Dawg? Art Bell?
The truth please...
