OK, difference of opinion I guess. I watch Tom Goes to the Mayor and find it occasionally funny. Nothing great, but watchable.
Really, the only original Adult Swim shows I like are Aqua Teen and Venture Brothers. the rest range from somewhat watchable to terrible.

I almost never sit there and watch TV. 90% of the time I'm surfing the internets with the TV on in the background.
That said, I like to TiVo shows that are good for that type of viewing. Most of these are shows I'm a big fan of, but have already seen. I don't like watching shows that require a lot of attention.

Oh man I couldn't even keep Tom Goes to the Mayor on in the background. It was frickin torturous. That show seriously gave me homicidal tendencies. That and that one horrible show called something like 12oz. Mouse or something. Terrible art/animation, terrible terrible horrible dialog, zero plot. Sometimes I wonder what Adult Swim is thinking when they push shows like this.
...and then there's Adult Swim's sick obsession with anime. Blech.

I've always put forth the argument that Adult Swim is looking for the most poorly animated funny show on television.
Also, I find 12oz Mouse barely tolerable, particularly when vs. TGtM.

I need two sources of stimuli at all times. If I'm watching TV, I get all fidgety if I can't also surf the web. If I'm surfing the web, I need an iPod or TV noise. If my wife is watching TV, I need a gameboy or the laptop. When I go to sleep, I usually play my DS and listen to my iPod at the same time. If I read, I need my iPod. I don't know if it's good or bad, but I'm guessing bad.

I tried to get into Stroker and Hoop, but I found it to be too predictable and cliched. It felt very uninspired to me. I felt like I had seen all of the gags 100 times before. It felt like it was written by very talented 17 year olds.

I no longer possess the ability to sit down and watch an NBA game (Like I could 5 years ago). I'm more likely to channel surf/nap instead.
I'm hoping this trend changes since the playoffs are coming up.

I had problems this year with hockey games, but then again, I'm a Blues fan. This is the first year where I was actually rooting for my team to lose (to get a better draft pick). It makes it hard to get involved in the games.

Oh god I had forgotten about shows like Super Milk Chan and Perfect Hair Forever. More shows I couldn't bare to watch.
But I LOVE Cowboy Bebop. I just wish they'd make more episodes, I've seen em all too many times.
