Any lovers here? Of Bolthouse Farms' Green Goodness™ that is?

This stuff is amazing, it has the most intense ingredients list I've ever seen. I mean, with stuff like wheat grass, spirulina, barley grass, spinach, odorless garlic, blue-green algae and more, it delivers a nutritional kick like no other.

Short on Manganese? Green Goodness has 150% of your daily value of Manganese in an 8 fl. oz. drink! Along with 120% Vitamin A, 105% Vitamin C, 30% Folic Acid, 15% Iron, 7% Ribflavin, 15% Vitamin B6, 30% Vitamin B12, and 120% Zinc!!! Its even got plenty of "powerful phytonutrients", whatever those are...

Somehow it manages to maintain a pleasant taste, I guess that's because they've packed it with plenty of naturally sweet juices like Apple, Pineapple, Mango, Banana, Kiwi and Dragon Fruit juice.

You may think I'm nuts for recommending this to you, and after you see what it looks like you'll probably be sure of it, but I'm telling you, this stuff is incredible. I seriously *feel* better after drinking it. It seems to have an almost stimulatory effect on me, and I feel very good.

The only downside that I've noticed is that it's rather acidic, and at the rate I'm drinking it my mouth seems to be eroding, but never mind that, I feel GREAT!!

Anyone else here tried the stuff?

Note to mods: This is not spam, I am in no way affiliated with Bolthouse Farms and am not getting any money from recommending this orgasmic drink to you.

For a second I had to check whether or not I was reading the lawn waste thread.

Hey I am all for health drinks, it's just the way you worded it sounded like spam.

How's it compare to Green Machine (Odwalla and Naked varieties)?

OK so where do you buy this stuff? Any corner store, mail order or a grocery store?

I'm not quite sure, I'll have to try that and get back to you. I haven't tried all the Odwalla varieties.

I don't think you'll find it at a corner store, but I've seen it at plenty of major grocery stores like Publix, Albertson's, and Wild Oats.

Geez we don't have any of those in Canada but I will check the equivalents.

My suggestion would be to compare it with Naked Juice's variety; Odwalla's drinks are quite inferior.

Ah, will do, but after reading the thread on the two it seems almost like an emacs vs. vi thing.

Eh, that was my assumption before I started going back and forth between the two. Odwalla's flavors are less balanced and taste more artificial. It's a marked difference with many of their similar products (I've noticed an enormous difference with the protein shakes and the berry-related, including Blue Machine) -- though the Green Machine varieties come closest to being similar.

I work at a large nationwide natural foods grocery store and I will say this...

although it may look like it would taste like grass, or something that would stick to the bottom of your dogs paw... it is actually quite tasty, I have tried the odwalla green machine and it tasted like strawberries...

and bolthouse farms sells very well, they make great stuff!

You should be able to get these products at your local natural foods store, maybe even the conventional grocery stores, I dont know, I dont spend much time in other stores then my own.

But how's the price compared to the price of Naked? I feel very bad downing a litre of Naked in one sitting and then realizing I'm going to piss $8.00 away.

Yeah, I'm also interested in pricing. Bolthouse Farms sounds pretty good. I think I'll check it out next time I'm at Whole Foods, especially if it's any bit cheaper.

Bolthouse Farms carrots are more orange than other varieties and are tastier.

I like 'em.
