The user's guide should give it away... Apple would never use a combination of Arial and Times New Roman font on the same page; let alone a serif font in the first place. But then again, how many of us actually read the user's guide?

So you and about 1% of the iPod users would be able to pick up on this... but for the large, unwashed masses... they wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Wow, they went to great lengths to copy the design, even when it didn't matter. They have the embossed storage capacity on the USB connector, but just plum forgot to make the control ring around the play button gray.

Even the iPod software CD inside is almost an exact replica! What the hell is on there anyway? If the unit is just a mass storage device, what kind of software would you actually need?

You would notice because the copy doesn't work with iTunes.
