In Praise of Fredo Corleone

Of course his name was Fredo Corleone in the Godfather film trilogy, but his real name was John Cazale. There are quite a few things about him that I never knew:
* He was engaged to Meryl Streep at the time of his death from bone cancer at the age of 41.
* Today, Cazale is the only actor with multiple roles to have all of his films listed on the IMDB Top 250.
* Every single feature in which he had starred had received an Academy award nomination for Best Picture. No other actor with multiple films to his credit has such a distinction.
