Which mac magazines do you subscribe too?
I have 3 currently (Macworld, Mac Addict and Mac Home) and they all show up about the same time everyweek.
The problem is they all have the same info in them.
I think I should only get one of them.
Just curious if you had a favorite mac magazine or maybe you don't like any of them.
And any other magazines you like, let me know. Currently my favorite magazine is WIRED as it's just well made.

All of 'em are all ads. I get more info here than in any Mac magazine. And I always wonder about the people who write a magazine and wait X-months for an answer to a problem that would've been answered in minutes.

Who ARE these people?

Indeed. I picked up the 'Wired' US magazine, every page had adverts!
Mac Format UK is very good.

I think they really get back in the magazine for the benefit of any other people who may have the same problem. Otherwise, they could jsut e-mail them. I bet they do just e-mail them right away. But the delay sort of makes me laugh. My PC magazine had an article on that guy who managed to get XP running on a Mactel before boot camp came out, but everything in the article (which was very editorial) was completely outdated because boot camp had been out for a couple of weeks. I see all periodicals declining in use for the forseeable future.
O yeah, and the ads in magazines these days are rediculous. They are like 10x as bad as pop-ups, and there is no such thing as a "magazine ad blocker"

I read MacCreative (UK) since issue 1. However, weeks ago it merged with iCreate by the time my 6-months subscription was about to expire. I mailed them a check like I did, but got returned without any reason. Since then, they never replied my email about renewal. Strange!
Anyway, from time to time I check out MacWorld from the local library.

I've seen inserts in the Sunday paper that are bigger than a copy of Macworld. What a travesty that crappy mag turned out to be.

Except when they get payed to show better benchmarks for "independent" testing of a product.

You never really know. When magazine writers leave a given magazine, they talk about that. Why do you think that Consumer Reports has no ads? Neutrality.
