Sony Pictures Home Entertainment was due to ship the first of nine titles on 23 May but after a zero-hour meeting where a heated debate took place have now decided to wait until more players are on the market from June.

Maybe we'll eventually see Windows Vista released on Blu-Ray!

no because MS supports HD-DVD. Vista will be out on HD-DVD2 in 2009 the successor to HD-DVD trying to keep up with Blu-ray.

1 month isn't really a big deal.

I mean look at the HD-DVD launch, they only shipped 10,000 units and had a crappy selection of movies like Phantom of the Opera.

Blu-rays selection isn't that great for launch though either.

Media launches never have amazing titles. DVD was worse. Phantom of the Opera is a fine movie with high WAF.

The bluray titles are only moved back to match up to a player.

and once everything's said and done... it'll take forever before either are addopted .
