I don't know. I never have been impressed by a Bentley, but you must work/live in a rich area judging by these pictures and others which you have taken.

Speaking of Hummers, GM is ending production on the real Hummer H1 so they can focus on that H2, H3 crap.

Yeah the H2/H3 is a pure POS. I've seen idiots trying to take them offroad and the results were disastrous. They have these really skinny, almost pencil thin tierod ends that break almost immediately when you hit a rock. Woops there goes your steering.

So they are going to stop making a big, ugly, overpriced piece of crap in order to better concentrate on making smaller, ugly, overpriced, pieces of crap?

Weird.

I don't know much about this particular car, but aren't we seeing that body style copied a little too much these days?

When I lived in Tampa I always felt sorry for the folks that tried to keep up with the Jones' by buying what they thought was a phat car.

The streets were full of V12 AMG Benzes, Porsche Cayenne Turbos, and BMW-M whatevers. I called those folks "posers". Instead of respect, I offered them my sympathy.

Heck, you'd need to spend $250K just to *maybe* get somebody to glance at your car.

After I met enough truly wealthy people, I figured out which cars got their attention - which cars they drove.

Here's the top 5 list, as compiled by Spliffdaddy:

#1 (by far) - Ford F-series pickup with the "King Ranch" option package.

#2 - VW Jetta/VW Golf

#3 - Chevy Suburban

#4 - GMC Tahoe

#5 - Chrysler 300

Granted, these same folks also owned a few other cars - usually Bentley Continental GTs or, if they were really wealthy - a 20 year old Bentley Turbo R...just because they bought it back in the 80's and decided that Bentley's kinda sucked.

I think that owning an expensive car can be a definition of a poser. There are really no practical reasons to own such an expensive beast other than image and status.

Ding Ding Ding.

Does everyone here buy expensive computers for status?

I bet a few of you just like computers and could afford them. Seems like a lot of sour grapes over folks who own nice cars.

If I was really rich I'd be modest. I'd only drive my 6 Ferraris on weekends.

I'm-a trying to wonder, wonder, wonder why you, wonder, wonder why you act so.

Not from me. I don't have any desire to own something like that. I never have. There is a point where something goes beyond a merely expensive item.

The Continental GT is $150,000. And it's a coupe.

Of course I guess you could say that not everything has to be practical so…

People that put 22" wheel under a Conti GT should be shot. Especially wheels that are that ugly.

But I never liked the Conti GT. I do like the Flying Spur, the face goes better on a 4 door than on a 2 door.

God what a wanker. Obviously knows nothing about driving - that would fcuk the handling.

Waste of money. Lack of taste.

The 5,000 pounds of deadweight pretty much killed the handling before the 22's got mounted.

the video you are probably referring to was from one of my fellow members in my offroad club... there are some people who actually wheel them... but the vast majority of them never see anything more then a well maintained gravel road...
