Alter Bridge has moved to their new web-site recently after they broke with Wind-up records. I was kind of surprised to see them on .mac

They threw Scott Stapp out back in '94. (Apparently based on their press release Stapp is also the band's mortal enemy.) Myles Kennedy is their lead singer ... the music is somewhat different than Creed. Kennedy has a nicer sound.

This really is a great band .... I've seen them live 4 times now. Well worth the listen.

I've heard a few licks on the radio, heavy band.

I was unaware of Stapp not still participating in this band (though it was his side-project)

So yeah, I'll give it a shot, but Scott is still going down.

Stapp has never been associated with Alter Bridge. This is all post-creed stuff. Scott Stapp started his own solo carrer with some band-for-hire types.

If you ever get the chance to see these guys live they are amazing. My most recent venture had them playing with 3 Doors Down and Seether. After Alter Bridge's set was done there were a bunch of folks near my seat going "who the hell were those guys? Wow!" Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti came back onstage later to play one of their songs with the band members and Brad Arnold of 3 Doors Down. It was an awesome night ...

Eh, I really don't like 3 Doors Down or Seether.
