I can't seem to figure out if I'd like to be a part of the corporate world (i.e. become an entrepreneur).
For a long time, I've assumed that it's not for me. I reached this decision because I didn't enjoy Economics in high school, noticed that a lot of businesses can operate quite "sleazily," really don't like thinking of human beings as company assets, and constantly dealing with costs and revenue seems very tedious.
After thinking a bit tonight, I'm starting to think that perhaps I should reconsider. Perhaps I'd enjoy being the driving force behind an idea. I would also enjoy the social aspect of actually talking to people, rather than being stuck behind a computer all day.
I have two primary questions:
A) For anyone who has studied business, what have you found interesting? What hasn't been?
B) I like the idea of bringing an idea into fruition, but I also like the idea of coming up with the general idea myself. I'm sure that these are two very distinct things. Who ends up coming up with the idea?
I understand that the questions are very vague. That's because I have no idea what I'm talking about.
