Wow, no worms were harmed in the making of the film? Blah. Lies. Clearly a few suffered a lot of emotional damage.

There was a version of this movie made for TV a long time ago that I remember watching when I was young.

I remember that book! I'm glad to see that they're taking an idea that doesn't suck and developing it into a movie.
