I'm impressed that almost 4% of the US of A is now using Safari. That's a big increase from previous years (for obvious reasons).

Indeed, they just sunk $180 million into a new opera house in Toronto.

Yah, because people love using proprietary beta's from companies that use monopolistic tactics.

So people would prefer a buggy beta funded by AOL Time Warner and maintained by people who lost their jobs after Netscape bought the farm?

I have got to pipe in... This is news to me...Too many people up here are windows users. Hence, very few Apple stores. At least I learned the Firefox fact using Shiira...

As for the Gay reference, just because we don't bomb other countries for a living, doesn't make us gay.

Or maybe it does...

However, there's no excuse for being Canadian.

Nope, excuses not required... we are proud to be Canadians. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I think you are on to something. I was in the local Blockbuster renting a movie and somehow left with Brokeback Mountain?? Man, maybe it is a combination thing...Canadian, high alcohol content in the beer, cold winters, and mac users.

Actually a friend wants me to show up for the pride parade in Winnipeg. I'm tempted to go... but I'll have to sneak out my mom might shoot me .

"If you go people will know that you're gay!"
"... So?"
"Don't go!"
"Mom... you realize... the only people that will assume I'm gay... are the gay ones?"

Uhm... could someone explain to me why accusing someone of being gay (or Canadian) should be considered an insult?

Salty, have you come out of the closet? Seriously, did I miss something?

I can never tell what's sarcasm and what isn't when you talk about homosexuality

Yes and the post went on for something like 8 pages . I also got kicked out of my church for it. My parents didn't take it super well but they haven't disowned me. The only people who don't know are people at school, cause living in a guy's dorm at a Christian school would just be bloody awkward.

edit: Obviously I missed that salty. Don't let them get you down. Join a better church, keep cool with the 'rents, and I hate to say it but be very discrete about your orientation until you graduate. my 2 cents.

now back on topic

hayesk: how is firefox better than IE7?
