OK, like... I'm not talking work too much or don't love your family or whatever. But I find sometimes especially when it comes to drawing stuff, sometimes I create something and I just can't believe that I actually made that thing. Eventually some times I'll grow bored of it or something. I've had that happen with some photos I've taken and occasionally with a poem. But anyway, if you can post some things that you've done that you've decided were flipping amazing after you did them.

Work used to be exciting sometimes. Lately though most clients are just driving me nuts.
But there is one thing I'm always looking forward to - "shooting" things

Uhm, well I guess my type of work doesn't qualify.

Being proud of Excel sheets would be sort of weird..

I don't fall in love with my professional work, but I do with my hobby(writing). Every once and a while I re-read the chapters I've written and am amazed at my talent.
Although I've writting it myself, when I re-read it months later the text does everything to me that I had intended it to do to the reader, and I just can't believe that I've written that.
It's a wonderful feeling when that happens

Brass I really love this one. I think it's pretty dang cool... I should try and take some shots like that.

Anyway I've done a few sketches that I've absolutely loved

This one's of me, I've had several people complement me on this one, it's probably one of the best things I've ever drawn. It's strange because it looks uncomfortably like me.

This one's of one of my former YG kids, the other day he said that he liked the other sketch of mine above as my MSN display pic, and he wanted one, one of those, "I'll be your best friend forever" moments. I did a quick one but I wasn't happy, so I found a better photo than the one he sent me, one that I'd taken at the grad banquet we'd had when he graduated and drew this one off it. At which point he fell in love because it really did look like him and it had that sort of goofy feel he normally has.

Lastly this one, is my current background. I almost feel like the bit of sketching detracts from the original photo... but in the end I decided that this would be the final product. To me it kinda has a really other worldly feel to it.

As for recent poetry that I love

And lastly perhaps one of the best I've written in a long time

I uses a Wacom Graphire 3. I'd love to have money for a higher end one. But it's good enough. I use it and Photoshop Elements 2. As for do I like it? I swear by this thing! Best part is it only cost me 120 CND! And it's made my graphic arts stuff sooo much better. Basically it gives you most of the good stuff that comes from hand drawing and all the awesome stuff that comes from working with a computer.
It took me about two weeks to really get used to the feel of it. But after I did I just kept getting better with it. The only thing that I don't like is that there's no way to do certain things that you can do with a pencil based system. It's much more like drawing with a pen that you can erase. I love the whole pressure sensitive nature of it, and it feels so much more natural than using a mouse.
I HIGHLY recommend a tablet even if you only play in Photoshop a lil bit.
