If it worked on my Hi-Res PowerBook (with Sudden Motion Sensor BTW) I would love to try it.

I got the version for my PowerBook but it still doesn't work, it makes the noises when I move the mouse. Is it for the old Powerbook? Because I have the HR Powerbook

edit: NVM I got it working, I want to get the smackbook thing working, is there a step by step instruction on how to do it?

Got SmackBook working on my Hi-Res PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz using the link from comment 182 on the medallia blog. Works pretty well, too I might add. All the Windows PC weenies I work with are blown away when they first see it.

Download the zip file then unzip it (duh). Launch the version of Desktop Manager contained within. I believe it has been patched to accept the external commands. Open Terminal. cd to the folder that was created when you unzipped the zip file. Type perl smack.pl. After trying the first time it didn't work for me. Just control-c to terminate the process then restart your computer. This worked for me.

I would like to see a version that you install and it just works without having to go into Terminal. Still really neat to show off to people.
