Anyone else play this? It's very simple rules. You have 40 points to make a ship fleet, then you duke it out while trying to get the most treasure.

I think there're varient rules for more advanced, tournament play.

Anyway, the fun part is you get "cards" that are conviently the same size as credit cards. They're actually plastic. They have very nicely detailed punchout pieces and you construct a little 3D pirate ship.

Every pack comes with 2 boats or 1 boat and a fort, treasure, an island, possibly some crewman, and a miniature 6-sided die for rolling. So every pack is self contained and you can start playing with the "Basic" rules right away with any other player.

It's a hoot, and apparently really popular in the UK.

That does look like a lot of fun, and as an obsessive completionist, I try to shun all games like this! Maybe I'll just pick up a couple of packs to see what it is like...

This is a cool game. Assemble a fleet of pirate ships on the table top and plunder away. Arrrrrr! The South China Seas expansion is nice, but the new Davy Jone's Curse set is very slick. Cursed ships & sea monsters!
