anyone ever seen or used this freeware app similar to front row? I just downloaded it from www.equinux.com it's slow on my ibook g4 800, but not bad.

I thought at first you might be referring to Center Stage, which is also free, but in addition, open-source. Seems interesting too, though. Still, it seems like it takes Apple to really make this kind of thing fully work.

Front Row still needs work. Hopefully these apps will help stimulate Apple's development of their app.

i wish front row had a timer function...i love falling asleep to tv shows or dvds but i dont like using front row seeing how the monitor is kept on until its exited. another good idea would be to completely shut off the other screen instead of just turning it black to save the backlight...:shrug:

im pretty sure im the only one who would want these features but what the heck, i thought id post em anyway.
