Regards: U.K. music industry to sue AllofMP3.com

Need some advice, should I stop using allofmp3?
I have used them for about 2-3 months now and spend about $20-$40/week on music on some weeks, other weeks about $5-$10 because i am a big music fan.

I dont want to loose any money or be affected by this. Should I keep using them?

1. Search first, there was a thread discussing this website in the past week.

2. To sum it up: The website is run by the russian mafia and artists receive no payments for having their music up there. Technically, it's probably illegal. But that just what I got from it.

AllofMP3 has previously been investigated by the Russian police, and no charges were filed. The wikipedia article on allofmp3 has an extensive, well-documented section on the legality in Russia, the US, and several other countries.
My opinion is that it is legal in Russia, the US, and several other countries.
Some claims that they licensing system allofmp3 is using gives nothing back to the artists, but I haven't seen anything definitive either way.
If you really care about the artists, send the artist a buck fifty next time you download an album from allofmp3; that's more than the RIAA-associated artists recieve from iTunes.
