I am not out to start a flame war but is Apple having a certain sexual orientation preference for Apple Store employees? My brother who has been going from Apple Store to Store accross many US states mentioned this observation. Not all of them are living an alternative lifestyle but more than half of them appear to be.

Again this is not to start a flame war but is Apple intentionally doing this?

I think Apple likes to go for the more artistic side of things, having a bunch of gays run your stores looks trendy. Not to mention though as the lounge shows tons of the more hardcore Mac heads you'll find are gay.

I didnt think of it that way. If most of the customers are homosexuals makes sense to put homosexual employees as well.

Or perhaps the homosexual customers just want to work there.

But ya, I noticed the Apple stores are full of gay men.

I'm just happy that the women working there are better looking than in most PC computer stores.

Did you really just say that? Did you just say that most of Apple's customers are homosexuals?? Wow...

I just realized who you are. You know that ban evasion results in a longer ban than your original one? Bye bye.

Ahh that's why he was using new SNs. It's pretty sad for someone to actually get banned from the lounge... I mean you're kinda allowed to get away with way more than I've seen on lots of other forums. Like seriously the only way I can think I might be able to do something to get banned is like to suggest I slept with Tooki's mom or something and even then I'm not sure it'd happen!

Maybe they're just metrosexuals. I mean if I thought every well dressed, fashionable, primped hair, make-up putting on, guy I saw here in Japan was gay I'd have to wonder how any children ever got conceived.

If the shoe fits. What's so wrong with being gay, not that I am gay. I've notice homosexuals tend to be harder workers.

Q - Why is using a windows computer like having anal sex with a homosexual male?

A - It feels good until someone see's you doing it!

I have to say this is one of the more ludacris threads I've seen in the lounge in a long time.

I'm sorry I've not seen any trend in apple store employees - at leas in terms of their orientation. Do homosexuals work at apple stores, I don't doubt it, do straight people work at apple stores, I don't doubt that either.

I've been to a number of apple stores and no there was no trend.

This thread is ripe to degnerate into the normal sexual orientation threads that seem to appear here.

my apologies but i'm still surprise by my brother's observation and I was hoping it was just him but it appears a lot of other people notice this too.

what i was wondering is Apple Computer intentionally preffering homosexuals than heterosexuals on purpose? this is akin to hooters hiring big busted women over flat chested girls. i myself hire my employees based on their education & work experience and keep them if they showed to be hard workers. front liners are normally those who have an easy time interacting with customers.

again nothing bad about being gay.

I'm not saying that its not worth noting, though I disagree that its an active persuit on apple's part especially since I have not seen it.

Two groups of people here at macnn here degenerate these threads about lifestyles. Just look at Salty's posts, he seems to want to flaunt his lifestyle in such a flamboyant manner. These threads seems to draw out the worst of people (both for and against)

Actually his posts most often bash extreme gays/gay stereotypes.

I find it funny. Before people complained that they thought I really was gay and scared of talking about it... now that I do people get mad that I talk about it. People are dumb.

No, people are complaining that you bash gay people for years and when you come out as gay you want everyone to be touchy feely with you.
