What's the Best Flash Mp3 Player for Someone Who Doesn't Own a Computer?

I'm shopping for a gift for someone (26) who doesn't own a computer, but will have access to a variety of computers including parents'. I'm thinking a flash based mp3 player (for battery life). But I don't know the specifics of if any brand has one you can use without installing a bunch of crap on the computer first.
Can anyone help me out?

Pretty much anything other than an Ipod supports USB mass storage so you can just drag the songs over to the disk that shows up on the desktop and not have to install any software.
iTunes isn't really evil though so why not just get them a nano?

Since this person is using it with multiple computers, I could imagine it being annoying and (depending on his computer savvy) confusing, with iTunes asking you to associate the device with the computer every time you plug it in.

As long as I'm shopping for a gift I figured it might as well have a warranty and not need tinkering, and being in the original packaging would be nice too. Anyone have experience with non-Apple mp3 players?

I have a friend who bought a 20 gig iPod... she was using 700 megs... I coppied her library to my Mac, and then coppied all my stuff onto her iPod. She now just riffles through the play lists I made haha.
