i've been using it for a couple weeks. it's works pretty well. it took some "training" to get it to play the right music. it still needs some correction from time to time but overall it works pretty well. i discovered lots of artist that i'd probably would not have found otherwise. i'm thinking about changing my sig.

Yeah, I am using it and love it.
I find the same thing though, some songs *I guess* are in the same "genre" as what I have entered but I have so desire to listen.....But until they can read my mind, it is something I am willing to put up with.
Who reads this???

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

The common thread in all my pandora.com suggestions is "extensive vamping". Does that make me a vampire?

I've had trouble with it getting stuff wrong. It can't tell synthpop/80's stuff apart from europop-style dance music.

I know I know.. drives me crazy. I just want to teach Pandora to play 80s music. It is a slow learner.

The problem is, from the standpoint of its database and/or algorithm, 80s is indistinguishable from other stuff. So if I add an 80s song, I get crap I don't want, and if I then thumbs-down a song I don't want, it takes away the 80s stuff. It can't learn that, because it sees them as being the same style.
