Actors are hired to play a part, and if something about them changes physically, the higher-ups have every right to fire them. I hope she wins and gets the $100 million. She deserves it for what she had to go through. It's not like she intentionally gained weight. She was injured (maybe even on the job) and – as a professional dancer – therefore burned less calories.

She's not trying for a 'win,' she's trying for a settlement. The signs are all there; media-loving attorney, astronomically high dollar amount. She's hoping to embarrass the producers into forgoing a courtcase and pay her a few hundred thousand to drop the whole thing.
I'm guessing that she knows her pseudo-dance career is never gonna happen and is looking for a fat paycheck to tide her over for a while.
