Hey guys I really didnt know where to post this...so I thought I would ask...
I have a iBook G4 1.33 ghz with 512 mb of memory. I am running CS2 along with other software. Would it be good enough to just update my memory to 1 gig or should I just go in and buy a new intel mac? What would your recommendations be? By the way I know this isn't a support forum and I know that in alot of my post I ask questions rather than just jump into the conversations and I am sorry. I just really never have much to say. Unless I have a question that is?
Thanks so much for your opinion guys.

I'd say there will be a small improvement in minor areas. Personally, I saw more of a difference going from 384 to 1gig, than from 1gig to 1.5gig.
I know, not the same amount increased, but close.
If you're looking to extend usefulness for another half year, go for it. If you are looking to wow yourself with newfound speed, get a new machine.

I would upgrade the RAM. And if you decide to get an Intel Mac, definitely upgrade the RAM. I recently had the unfortunate experience of running Photoshop on an Intel iMac with 512 MB RAM, and I've decided that next time I'll just make an appointment for a spinal tap instead.
