He's begging for money via T-shirts to pay for his house...literally.
He blames everyone else for his financial problems and is now asking for people to give him a $15 "donation" so that his home won't be foreclosed on.
Here we have people like Mastrap who ask for money for valid reasons, like FriendsofEsther.com and then you have losers like Dustin Diamond who beg for money by blaming everyone else for their problems.
It's really unbelievable. What a moron...no wonder he's a has-been unemployed wannabe actor.

I wonder where he got the money and time to set up this stupid campaign and hire someone to make that website?

Bashing is fun!
Honestly, just leave him be. I'm most definitely not a fan of him but to ask the internet world if he is a loser or not? That's a tad silly.

So he's trying to save his house. Who ****ing cares? Make a $15 donation, or don't.

Yeah, that's a real complex site he has going there. Three, four pages? Twelves, fifteen GIFs? Some of those "URL" things? Must've taken weeks, thousands of dollars, and the top web design minds of the world to complete.

The point is that HE certainly didn't do it. He's a moron. Where did he get the money to put up a site begging for dollars?
If people want to donate $15 to his "campaign" I certainly wish that they would rethink it and donate to Mastrap's site, www.friendsofesther.com instead...at least THAT $15 goes to save the life of a mother.

Your sarcasm is pretty lame mindfad. You make a lot of friends that way?
If he has enough time to put together a "save my house" campaign, set up a website, take orders for shirts, sign them, ship them out, write essays about how we need to help him, take pictures of himself, and file all of his earnings with the IRS to avoid being jailed, he might as well just get an actual job and quit looking like a begger.

He's not a loser. He has a job. He's a stand up comedian. That doesn't pay too well though. Not enough to save his house. So he is being honest about his situation.
The site is basic. Any friend or publicist could have set it up for almost nothing or even free in a few days.

If what I am doing for a living doesn't cover my expenses I either.
1. Find a new job
2. Find another job
3. Live within my means.
Screech here seems to think he should be able to keep his high end house and people should give him money to do so.
He doesn't want to lose the status he gained over the years.
So he is taking advantage of his tv "status" to get money.
I don't feel sorry for him.
I just hope this thread doesn't turn into the usually "Bash Cody" thread by her usual group of pre-pubescent acting fan-boys.

I do see one other option. He could sell the house and take whatever equity he has and buy a house on land that he owns. I would NEVER EVER buy a house on land that I don't own.

Anyway, here's the real deal:

Post of The Day™.
 Kerrigan.
You hit the nail on the head: He's a professional beggar, just like those beggars at intersections who make several hundred bucks a day...it's their JOB.

Did you see where the guy counts himself as a "famous celebrity" who shouldn't be "f'ck with?"

I'm wondering if its occurred to anyone that this is a joke.
Because it would be kind of silly that a bunch of people would get worked up over this, on the internet, if it were.
Of course I would never ever suspect that a comedian might do something like this.
Edit: Oh and I'll add this tidbit just for kicks: "Set up The Dustin Diamond Foundation after the loss of his first child. The foundation helps to support organizations that care for children."
And if you peak around the internet, you can find that he is indeed working...

I honestly don't think it's a joke, do you?
It's linked to all kinds of news outlets.
Besides, it's not funny - it's a sad cautionary tale about what happens to some people who don't manage their money well.

And to further solidify: "On June 13, 2006, Diamond appeared on The Howard Stern Show to request financial assistance. Diamond was given 30 days to come up with $250,000 USD or risk losing his home for failing to make payments on his land lease. His "solution" was to sell t-shirts for $15 that had "I gave 15 dollars to help Screech save his house" emblazoned on the front. He said that he would need to sell 30,000 t-shirts to completely cover the costs. He also claimed that he has a 10 inch penis."

Okay, to recap:
Site posted by comedian, who is clearly working. Site has pictures of a shack. That apparently has a $250,000 mortgage.
This brings up.. no red flags to anyone. Ok, thats reasonable. A lot of shacks have that kind of mortgage.
Secondly, at the same time he announced this he claimed to have a very large penis. Well maybe he just needed to share. Men are like that.
Thirdly, he's living with his wife and child in said shack and running a number of websites. Yet still amazingly counting on selling 30,000 tshirts in order to keep his family's home.
Cody, you've fallen for a gag and you took everyone along with you. Maybe this will teach you to investigate a little further before voicing your moral outrage.

Who did I "bash" here?
Tell me? Are you defending Dustin Diamond or something? You're offended because I bashed a loser who doesn't want to earn his living except by begging people professionally for money?
Wow...just...WOW.
Oh, and this incident for begging is at Drudge.com and the AP, and Reuters, and Local6.com and all kinds of sites...I didn't just come up with it on my own. I read about it.

It all started from the Howard Stern show, news sites picked it up from there.
I hope you're not still hanging onto this. It clearly was a gag, and a 5 second google search can prove it. Nobody likes falling for these things, and they're damned annoying and all too common. But lets give it a rest
But this is of secondary importance to defending our ego's over the internet. Really now, what is so bad if Cody bashes someone over the internet?

Not saying it is or isn't, but got a link? I looked, didn't see anything
Did see a Wiki entry that mentions it, but doesn't mention it being a joke

I'm neither defending nor bashing Dustin Diamond. My main thought on seeing that site was, "Hey, he's looking a lot better than he used to." I'm also not really defending or attacking you. I am saying that it's rather lopsided for you to be able to call Dustin Diamond a "loser" but then Kevin acts like people are soooo mean and unfair when they give you the same level of treatment.

When Cody does such a thing, you can say HA! You are no better than he is!
But I don't recall her ever doing such things. Your analogy is lame.
And it's not like YOU don't bash public figures in this forum. So put the rock down.
And finally, you keep forgetting personally attacking forum members is against the rules.
Doesn't matter how you attempt to justify your silliness.
Every cody thread ends up like this because of the same few brats that should be acting their age instead of being little piss-babies.
If you don't like Cody, don't click on her links.
Don't make the rest of the forum weed through your whining.

It was indeed a comparison.

Unless the forum rules say you can't. Then you STFU.
You really need to just express all this latent sexual energy you have directed toward me and stop bottling it up like this.
How in the world did you get any sexuality in my post was beyond me. That says more about you than me, I am afraid.
Actually, you know what? Don't care. That's beside the point.

That's not what I was doing; I was just trying to be funny, as with most of my posts. You posting this—you're doing exactly what you claim I'm doing. But this is classic Kevin. See Chuckit for clarification—if Cody has to hack up one of these lame threads every week and dish out her idiocy, certainly we can take jabs, too.

Incidentally, I just checked. I don't see any rule stating that it's OK to ruthlessly attack celebs but it isn't OK to call Cody out. (And aren't you the one who's all about "calling people out" anyway, Kevin? Why is it OK for you and not for others?)

Here we have a classic Codythread ™, where Cody posts an attack on a celebrity, collects the insults and if things start to die down, she sticks the spoon in and stirs it up again.
Kevin, who the hell are you to ruin Cody's fun? Leave her alone for God's sake.

I remember why I stopped posting here now.
Might as well pick this apart anyhow:
Cody starts with moral outrage over something silly, without checking her facts. A few people side with Cody. A few people side against Cody, but with no real reason beyond "well he's not THAT lame". Kevin posts his picture, Cody solidifies how amazingly horrible Diamond is.
Now its all fine until someone quotes Kevin saying it'll turn into a Cody bash. Ironically, this starts up the question.. well if she can bash people why can't people bash her. But she wasn't bashing Diamond, although its ok to.
Now if people would think before they get outraged, and actually treated forum members like human beings, this wouldn't have melted like a snowcone in the desert and everyone would have had a good chuckle. Instead we have to judge Diamond because its obviously the worst thing in the world to beg for money. And we have to bash Cody, not because she's jumping the gun, but because we just have to bash Cody.
Todays Lesson: Boys and Girls, if you just have to post on the internet leave your ego at home.

Todays Lesson: Boys and Girls, if you just have to post on the internet leave your ego at home.
i love you.

Cody is just mad b/c Zach and Lisa never got together. She blames Screech for this.

They did, albeit briefly. I was in love with Lisa Turtle, so I know these things.

Well there is a rule about personally attacking people. I suggest you look at it.
I am only calling you out for breaking the rules. I guess I could report you. Would you rather me do that?
I can you know.
The funny thing is, people post threads like this all the time. Bitching about a celebrity or an internet personality.
I can't even COUNT how many Ballmer Bashes or Gates bashes or what have you go on.
But as soon as Cody posts something. The SAME TIRED OLD whiners come in and attack cody.
Some of you have some serious issues with women to deal with. Cody obviously is getting treated differently because she is a woman with a strong opinion.
Don't like her? IGNORE HER.
I mean you guys are coming off as insecure little crybabies.
WAAAAAH CODY SAID SOMETHING!11
Cody I suggest you just stay in the kitchen and bake brownies or something. You are intimidating too make fragile egos it seems.

Sorry, that just doesn't wash. It was a nice cake you made, too bad it was full of poo.
