I told you guys that the next time a suitable job would come up at Apple, I would say that Steve recommend me for it. Well I did it and they responded; now it is in the hands of the recruiters. I do not think I will get the job but it is very funny.

So are you actually looking for a job, or not, or what? I'm confused.

That would be very funny if I would to get an interview. But I will not get it so the decision between my job right now and a job at Apple is null; but it is very funny. Maybe they would take me seriously as people think everybody is doing it, nobody is doing it.

DID Steve JOBS actually recommend you for a job?

Or did you say that he had and he has not?

The recruiter will forward your resume to the appropriate manager, who will have never heard anything from Steve about you being recommended for the job. The recruiter will then probably "forget" to stay in contact with you, and it'll be noted on your file in Apple's job database that you've tried to play the recruiting department, and it will affect future job applications.

Lying to a potential employer, even one you may only be serious about working for later down the road, is never a good idea. I wouldn't let them fly you down if I were you. That would cause lots of problems.

Monique hasn't interviewed yet. She's talked to a recruiter. An Apple recruiter will forward the resume onto the team manager for the team Monique wants to be in, the team manager will give his input to the recruiter, and then at the team managers discretion an interview will be set up. I think the team manager would be the one interviewing Monique, so Monique has not talked to her potential interviewer yet.

The second one. She made a thread about how she wanted to do it a while back.

I don't think it's funny.

I think it's stupid.

I've lost a lot of respect for Monique.

And to think that I defended her in the pitbull and cat thread...I take it all back.
