1. Go to http://www.google.com

2. Type in the word "A$$hole" (the right way - not my way or the censored way)

3. Click on "I'm Feeling Lucky"

I'm surprised that Google did this, to be honest!

I didn't laugh, but I can see why some might find it funny. I guess it's sort of clever.

But what do you mean that you're surprised Google did this? Google didn't do anything...

Google's ranking algorithms put high value on keywords that are linked to sites. Considering the title of the documentary in question, I'm not at all suprised that it's the first hit. Google is not making any political statement here, it's just following the links.

To see how people manipulate the search results for political gain, do a search on the words "miserable" and "failure" together....

Interesting!

I didn't know if Google had anything to do with it or not...given the fact that they've been in a tussle over their records with the government I supposed it might be the case.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_bomb

Of course, this doesn't even count as a Google bomb, because the word A$$hole is the title, and as Dork. said, it's not surprising that it would be the first hit. But if there were tampering, it wouldn't be Google's fault, and Google never has anything to do with that.

"French Military Victories" - that's my favorite (hint: the page that comes up is not actually a google page, it just looks like it).
