Annoyed by the predominance of the English language the Grande Nation strikes back and is developing a Google Earth killer. An equivalent to Google Maps (but with high resolution images of the Eiffel tower) is ready already.

You know what? High res pics of the tower are exactly what google earth is missing. If those were included, they could finally move it out of 'beta' status.

I give the french credit for protecting their language, but sometimes they can be such idiots.
