Doughnuts, just like I believe in Drive Throughs and not Thrus.

The dumbing-down of society has gone far enough.

Are they made from dough or from do? Do you say duff for dough like enuff for enough? Is this duff-nuts vs. doo-nuts? How does it feel to live in a country that was once ruled by a confessing jam doughnut / jelly donut?

The only time I refer to "them" I'm talking about Dunkin Donuts, and since it's spelled as such - 'do' would have to be my answer.

I've never gotten a doughnut anywhere else.

I want one now, mmm, Boston Kreme, or, is it Boston Cream? well, that's a whole 'nother thread, I guess.

It's doughnuts or donuts, though, the former is the "real" spelling (both are in the American English dictionary now.)

My mother has a friend from Turkish Cyprus who says "duff" for "dough"

When the Krispy Kreme came to Rochester, since they spell it "doughnut" (and nobody else really spells it like that up here) I thought their new slogan should have been "We put the 'ugh' in donut."
