Does anyone have an idea on how to tell a Sony SAT-B55 DirecTV receiver how to record to a Lite-On LVW-1107 DVD recorder? The darn thing was SO affordable that I couldn't resist, but now I can't figure out what brand to tell the SAT-B55 to use when setting up the remote control for the recorder (of course Lite-On isn't listed).

Any clues? I'm told that the Ilo brand (from Wal-Mart) is just Wal-Mart's brand on Lite-On products, but I haven't found anything about that one either.

That would work except... I'd like to be able to have the satellite receiver tell the DVD recorder to turn on and record, just like a VCR. Duct tape won't help with that. Thanks, tho
