HBO's main selling point is their exclusive TV shows (e.g. Sopranos) rather than the B rated or very old movies they choose to play. I'm not justifying the cost of HBO, I'm just saying people pay for the shows more than the movies.

your probably right, but you would expect from a channel that mainly plays movies, that they put out some quality stuff

No idea, don't they have some good original series? I love Sex and the City, Oz was... interesting. The American Queer as Folk remake (HBO did that right) was freaking brutal the original was far better. Uhh... are they also the ones who do Dead Like Me? I like Six Feet Under.

HBO didn't do Dead Like Me. That was Showtime. They do have Big Love, though.

I think Queer as Folk was Showtime, too.

My reason for not hating HBO: Curb Your Enthusiasm. Too bad that's over.

I wish they showed their movies in widescreen. They have like 14 channels. Can't they just make one HBOW or something?

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Deadwood is the only thing playing on HBO that I'm watching. Big Love was very well done IMHO..I miss Carnivale (SP?)...
