Anyone interested in getting the new Nintendo DS Browser made by Opera? Its coming out on Monday here in Japan, and I just preordered myself a copy. It was only about $30 here and honestly, my copy will probably make its way onto eBay rather quickly.

Would anyone actually use this fun little product? Or is it too little for your internet needs?

Yeah, I'm going to get one. Just because.

I use my phone to surf the net with the Opera browser already. Pretty handy.

Might give it a go, I hope that some 'DS format' websites appear, like the PSP sites designed to be the size of the screen. A web based MSN client would be nice too, like ebuddy.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

I don't know. I can't see the appeal. I'll rent it from Gamefly when it comes out in the US, just to play around with it.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I'm curious... how are people using this? I guess I have a laptop... but are you using it beyond that?

This completely flies in the face of Nintendo's philosophy.

Nintendo is only for children and grandmothers, and any non-game functionality is impure.

I can't tell if you're trolling or being serious

I'm going to get one when the North American version comes out. Since I have a wireless network, many times friends will just go and grab my PowerBook whenever they want to look up some stupid trivial thing on the net - now they can do it on their DS instead.

I`m thinking it may be nice for travel. You`ll already have your DS with you, might as well do your net browsing as well.

I like it! Looks great. I wonder why it came out in Japan first... Opera is developed in Norway. I guess they figured that the japanese would buy it the most.

Where is Nintendo from? Probably testing it on their home market first. I imagine that they'll eventually release an updated version of it. Eventually.

It'd be nice if Nintendo included things like a web browser, address book functionality etc in the DS from the get go. Wait, the DS still can't behave like a palm right? If it could I'd probably decided that was enough to get me to go with one.

It was too late to include a web browser at launch as DS were rushed to market to beat PSP.

But good thing they will include opera browser for Wii at launch.
