ok a couple of days ago a few drops of water got on my phone and i thought "no big deal" and dried it off and i used it 3 hours later and it worked fine but a couple of hours later i was going to turn it on silent and well the up and down button wouldnt work and the top left and top right button and up volume wouldnt work. But if i push the up or down button then pushed the right or left button i could move up and down. Do you think the cell phone company would notice that it had water damage if i sent it in?

I'd sincerely doubt that they'd notice, so long as it's fully dried.

In my experience, most companies seem to see scrutinizing return units as too time consuming and thus too costly. So, given the fact that they're able to write off of a number of costs on a defective unit, they usually just issue a replacement.

I'd take the phone apart completely to dry it.

They will give you a new phone if you give them your credit card and ID, no questions asked

Sorry, they have a water seal in there to detect water damage. Dried or not.

Exactly. There are water detection labels placed throughout the phone.
