Mods, if you think this should go in peripherals, feel free to move it. Otherwise, are there any phone geeks here who can help with a problem?

I can't get my Nokia 6230i to play an entire song. I first-thought it was a problem with the stock, waste-of-plastic 32 MB SD card in my phone, so I chucked it and bought a much more useful 512 MB SD card. I spent hours moving over more than 100 songs at super-slow Bluetooth speeds (because I don't have a card reader)... And now the problem persists.

Whether from the phone's file browser or its music player, it WON'T play a full song. One track will play for 90 seconds, the next for 35. One track will play almost all the way through, then clip the last 15 seconds, then the next plays for only 5 seconds.

WTF?

Any ideas are appreciated.

i have no idea! mp3's worked perfectly on my SE, never had a Nokia though...not very helpful...but did you try to reset the cell phone and then load and try again?

MP3's work just fine on my 6230, haven't tried AAC.
Maybe your phone needs a firmware patch or something along those lines.
