So after I received my Bluetooth Mighty mouse today, I stepped back and took a look at my desk. And I wondered, what is it with me and white plastic? I guess it's just the Apple products. But still.

iBook, BT keyboard, BT mouse, DS Lite, iPod, iPod dock, and I opted not to put in my ROKR. I'm sure there are others with much larger collections.

Post YOUR pictures of things made of white, shiny plastic!

I'm not as white as that. Powermac G4, G4 black keyboard, black and grey MX1000 mouse, 4g mono screen iPod (still going well), black DS lite , silver Sony monitor, oh and my phone is a K700i, so thats silver.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

Yeah, f1000 wins.

You guys have never seen the Optimus? It's basically vaporware. They're coming out with a three-key version of it next month, at $160. That's $53 a key. Not so sure about a full-size keyboard....

They're fairly large keys though, not just keyboard sized keys. Still a lot...

Nope...
32×32 mm says the website. That's just over 1 inch square.

Yeah, economics won't allow me to buy a tactile pro until its bluetooth. I can't believe they can charge that much for a keyboard. Those key switches should be made out of nanotubes at that price.

I present to you, my desk!

Not too much white shiny plastic I'm afraid.

I gathered up all my electronic gadgetry for the photo:
* 17" iMac G5
* 17" off brand LCD
* 15" MacBook Pro
* Tangerine iClock (held together by paperclips and rubberbands. It's a trooper)
* Sony PSP
* Nikon D200 (Best. Camera. Ever.) w/ 18-200 VR lens
* Samsung A900 cell phone (Samsung's RAZR knock-off)
* Black 30GB iPod w/ white DLO Jam Jacket (I bought the black one as soon as it came out and no-one was making a black skin at the time, and I refuse to use it skin-less)

And that's about it for my tech department... my dirty laundry made the photo too... along with a few snapshots on the bulletin-board, my collection of car magazines, and of course, the big sheet of names and passwords posted directly above the computer... blurred out for security reasons of course

(not pictured: Nikon Coolpix 7900, used to take the photo so that my beloved D200 could be in it)

All my stuff is either silver or white. Silver PowerBook, external drive, battery charger, card reader, the my new cam is a lil canon thing that's half silver half shiny red, it's nifty, and it's got white cable. As for white stuff, iPod, Wacom tablet, airport express, JBL creature speakers, oh and I've got a silver cannon camcorder. I do sadly have a beige laser jet HP that was half price when I boughti t.

1" square is large compared to a standard keyboard key. So yes.

My desk at the moment
It's hardly white... or color-coordinated at all. but it does the job.

• 20" iMac G5 (A classic... pre-iSight, back when every internal part was user-replaceable.)
• Dell 24" LCD (A recent addition; hooked up to my PC until I get a Mac Pro)
• Wacom intuos3 6x8"
• Some cheap Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse for the PC (across the room)
• Logitech MX1000 mouse on the iMac
• G-Tech G-Drive 250GB
• Panasonic surround receiver
• Athena speakers
• Mirage Omni subwoofer
• Cable box under the Dell
• Not pictured is a PSP, 3G 15G iPod, and Nikon D70. It's no D200 like MacMan's, but I love it.

The wires under the desk are a mess, but I'm only here for the summer (moving back to my dorm in 3 weeks) so I didn't bother to straighten them up.
