Over the years I thought it was interesting how the western cultures swung so far in the way of anti-male(lism), whereby I began to coin that 'women are the best thing since sliced wheat bread (they are!), and men were just big dogs that could talk', I thought it was amusing to see this, this morning.

There is a fair amount of that, but I often wonder if the issue isn't so much an "anti-male culture" as that there seem to be two very distinct male cultures now: "macho" and "metro" for lack of better names. Men, especially young men, are constantly assaulted by images from both, promoting themselves and deriding their opponents'. Is it any wonder that so many men get confused about the whole thing?
