those things are really amazing, my 2 yr old ibook had sweat stains from my palms nothing else I tried got ride of them. I just bought the heavy duty magic eraser, wiped right off with little to no effort. works great in the bathtub too.

Yeah, they are awesome indeed. If you have dirty white shoes, they make them look new again as well!

I also love those things. They get out marker, and other stuff that just doesn't come off with anything else.

I love how it makes my iBook look like new, but does anyone else always cough after using one? I feel like I get some kind of the dust crap in the back of my throat that makes me cough for a few hours after using it.

Perhaps removing yellowing? If the yellowing is more of a chemical breakdown or something, a surface treatment wouldn't work. It removes smudges and residue from iBooks, but not the (apparently) chemical discoloration of the MacBooks.

Yellowing Beige Macs (usually from the sun.) I know it's a chemical change, but a friend of mine who used to refurbish Macs would use a thinner of some type and take off a layer of plastic to make them look beige again. Was wondering if this would work without having to use harsh chemicals and removing any texture on the case.

I highly doubt it. I had a G3 tower that was also filthy from dust and grime. The MCME got rid of all of it without much fuss.
