It says "Sakebito" - "sake person", or alcohol lover.
The kind of shirt where everybody who can actually read it will feel a slight tinge of embarrassment for you.
Rule #1 in printed clothing: Never wear t-shirts with writing you can't actually read/write yourself (unless it's just a place name).

I somewhat agree with not wearing clothing you can't read. It can be embarrassing due to the fact that you can't even read what it says. Also, there are MANY shirts out there... that are misprinted by novice translators.

Well, it's better than getting a Kanji tattoo that you think says one thing and really says another. At least you can take off a t-shirt.

Carlos Mencia had a rant about that...how it's stupid for white guys to get Japanese lettering because they really don't know what it means...

Well, it depends on the "white guy." Some "white guys" are very into Asian culture and speak various Asian languages.
So having the Kanji for "big fat idiot" on his arm might be intentional.

Hmmm.... I would rather have some silly Engrish shirts. They`re more fun in the long run anyways.
