None of the above.

Doesn't everyone know this? Sol is the only star that close.

If I knew how much a parsec was (and don’t give me the dictionary definition, I don’t understand it, that’s the whole problem ), I might have known.

So how far from the Earth is Sqornshellous Zeta, then?

A Parsec is 1/12 the distance Han Solo traveled for his Kessel run. Duh.

( The answer is 1, by the way. The closest other star is Proxima Centauri, but it's further than 1 parsec. )

From the American Heritage Dictionary (online)
A unit of astronomical length based on the distance from Earth at which stellar parallax is one second of arc and equal to 3.258 light-years, 3.086 × 1013 kilometers, or 1.918 × 1013 miles.
Proxima is about 4.3 LY away from Sol.

Since nobody actually measures anything in parsecs, I wouldn't be surprised if nobody knew this.
