Do you kiss your dog on the lips?

I admit I have.

(Inspired by the hilarious Match.com banner ad where the pug dog sits next to the blonde while licking it's lips!)
Give petty people just a little bit of power and watch how they misuse it! You can't silence the self doubt, can you?

I don't have a dog.

But I do what I call a "cat kiss" with my kitties. Basically, it's "kissing" them with the top of my nose. More of a nuzzle really.

However, Ted's not into that kind of thing and tries to french me all the time. Like, yuk dude, you've been licking your backside with that mouth.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

If you don't vote Republican, these kitties will die

20 July 2006

Washington DC, United States: President George W. Bush announced today that he would veto a law that would devote Government funds to the huffing of kittens. He made the announcement while playing with 52 kittens in a fluffy bed. "I will not allow scientists to huff kittens and use them to prove the Theory of Evolution," he said while pawing at a ball of wool with his best friend Snuggles.

A dog's mouth can contain streptococcus or staphylococcus bacteria - either of which can create a problem if there is an open wound.

"One particular organism that you don't normally find in people's mouths, and is associated with dog bites, is an organism called pasterella multocida," he said. "It is a more serious organism in terms of infections."

With a normal, healthy animal, the risks of becoming ill are fairly minimal. However, Marchin says it a good idea to be aware of the diseases that are out there, and know how to handle a situation where infection could occur.
