Best Coke Commercial I've Ever Seen!
I just saw the most clever and heartwarming Coke commercial!
A fetching young woman is sitting on one end of a bus bench and a young man wearing a green hoodie is sitting on the other end of that bench.
The young man begins humming a non-descript tune to himself over and over again.
At first the girl tries to ignore it and him then, as he continues, she seems slightly annoyed and then amused as this kid is obviously at least slightly "mental!"
As he begins searching around in his backpack for something we wonder what's behind this young man's odd behavior and what he could be looking for, when finally he pulls out a bottle of Coke and as he puts the bottle up to his ear he stops the singing/humming he says, "Hello."
He was doing an imitation of a cell phone ringtone and the Coke is supposed to be the phone.
But that is a dumb commercial. What's the point?
Here's the point.
He takes the imaginary Coke cellphone from his ear and offers it to the nice girl with the fetching smile and says...
"It's for you."
He is using the Coke to break the ice and as a former self-styled, "ladies' man" that is a KILLER move!
He's in like Flynn!
It made me laugh and and brought a tear to my eye and when you see it you'll understand what I mean.
THIS TV COMMERCIAL will win awards and boost Coke sales like CRAZY!
10/10!

It was annoying and stupid. Not that the stund portrayed in the ad couldn't work.. It was annoying because of the stupid ring sound - *NOT* a "a non-descript tune" but one of the default Nokia ring sounds.
It was stupid because it assumes girls drink normal Coke. That is some dreamworld. Either diet-sodas or water.
A waste of 30 seconds of anyone's life and only the hardest Coca-Cola addict could find this 'touching'.
