I probably haven't seen the worst show, but I watched a few episodes of Alias on the ABC website, and I think I could write a script for that show while drunk, and asleep.

worst TV show?

"Unique Whips"

The doofus running the company "Unique Autosports" should be taken out behind his building and beaten senseless.

No way in hell would I let that dude *near* a car I own.

Unless I was a crack dealer or a pimp.

Yeah, how about we just tattoo "ghetto dweller" on the owner's forehead and save him a few thousand bucks.

Alias got pretty bad near the end, but it was a pretty good (if formulaic) show the first couple of seasons.

Seconded.

I made the mistake of forgetting to change the channel after Celebrity Fit Club tonight, ended up watching some of Flavor. I'm amazed that VH1 sunk low enough to do a second season. In doing so I think they took a pretty big step in catching up to MTV in the race to become the most absolutely worthless network on TV.

Fsck I hate reality TV shows. (That includes Hell's Kitchen.) The sad part is Battlestar Galactica is more believable than just about all the reality TV shows.

P.S. I also am completely confused as to why Oprah is so popular. She irritates the hell out of me. In fact, she scares me. I saw a clip once where she was all proud because some 12 year old was dieting because she was dieting. The whole audience applauded. I was like, WTF??!?!? Are studio audiences that stupid? I have come to the sad conclusion that sadly, most of the time, yes.

Next on MTV. The worst show ever. Period. Its a 'reality' dating game where you can tell that everyone on the show is reading from a script. Terrible actors/actresses and every show is the exact same thing. Makes you want to run into a knife.

The season where they brought back Tommy as the Rangers' leader was hilarious.

Ranger: "And you'll never believe what happened next!"
Tommy: "It suddenly grew really big?"
Ranger: "Uh…yeah."
Tommy: "Yeah."

God, the original Power Rangers series was awesome. I had all the toys, including the Mega Zord set and the flip-head action figures that came with the washable tattoos.

It's Alonzo Mourning, NBA basketball player, kissing the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy. His team (the Miami Heat) won the NBA title this year.

All reality TV should be banned. Any network thinking of doing one should be shot along side everyone on the production for backing it.

I already posted a small review of my impressions of 'Hell's Kitchen' in the other thread. Man does that show suck ass!

But nothing, absolutely nothing, prepared me for the unspeakable assholeishness and low life, spoiled, attitude (of the 'participants') in a MTV show called 'My 16(?)', where stupid highschool girls throw a multi million dollar birthday party for them and some of their 'closest' friends.

After about 10 seconds I wanted to take a chainsaw to just about everybody's face on the set.

And I agree with most of the posters here concerning 'reality TV'. I'm glad to see that it is going out of fashion faster than an 80s revival.

If I change my way of living, and if I pave my streets with good times, will the mountain keep on giving…

I should add, i havent TV in ike a whole year.... the rare House, South Park, Family Guy and Simpsons are the only exceptions.

Im sick of reality shows, game shows and those damn forensics shows.... just way too many of them...and the cases more often than not have to do with some sick pervision that usually make me nauseus.

There's lots of cringe-inducing pap out there, but the one that really curls my toes in the "Surreality" one, where they shove a bunch of Hollywood has-beens into a house and observe the self-absorbed idiots bickering and back-biting. I wish they'd just fumigate the place.

Fear factor? I hate the eating things, but the stunts are cool.

My sister was always turns it to MTV when I'm not looking because she knows I hate it. The funny thing is that I can always tell when she does it because it's always losers reading HORRIBLY written lines right from a script.

It sounded like a bad idea, but I actually liked the Civil War-speak. It was a fun flavor for the show.

There is so much out there that just needs to go away.

Reality has a place, but it can't be EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING!

I'm still waiting for a good sitcom to emerge from the reality hell we have been in for the past 7+ years.

Yeah I don't think Alias is bad, but then I've only seen the first couple seasons. It's much better than 'similar' shows like 24, IMO, though it is pretty predictable and formulaic.

But the worst show on TV has to be any reality show on MTV. Reality shows in general are awful but the ones on MTV are the worst, and yet my wife subjects me to them.
