I saw the French movie "Hidden" just now and could not make out what model laptop the guy has on his desk, is it a 15" Powerbook or a 15" MacBook Pro? I looked at the power adapter plug and it seems to be a magsafe?

Apple is great about product placement, and Hollywood tosses them in for free a lot, too. I love spotting Macs in movies and TV shows.

If you're talking about Caché, with Juliette Binoche and Daniel Autueil, it would've had to have been a powerbook as it was made last year.

I saw it in the theater and I've never heard a whole audience gasp in horror like that.

Yes it was "Caché" - I was wondering when it was actually made. Anyway you only see it open and on once, the rest of time its closed, so you only get to see the ports on one side.

Excellent movie in any case - amazing amount of VHS tapes in the bookcase around the TV!
