I would argue more then that, after the USSR crumbled the US lost its main purpose. Its been nothing but a downward spirl since.

Its funny this was orginally a post in responce to dcolton pathetic poll but thinking about it this could turn into a decent thread.. Mods move to PL

Can you say super power. It is easy for someone from a nation as insignificant as canada to talk smack, but when it comes down to it...the US is a giant while canada is nothing more than the pubic hair on a giant's balls. Canada is absolutely pathetic. At least take the queen of England off your looney. Man up canadians...become significant.

What evidence do you want? canada has never accomplished anything of significance. Canada has fought the US in every manner, hurled insults and even had anti-American textbooks. Yet, when it all comes down to it, canada remains insignificant. You have this weird culture where you think opposing the US is your significance. Meanwhile, you benefit from the power and milk and honey of the United States. I am sorry if you think a nation that still has the Queen of England on their money is significant. Hell, Mexico gets more props than you. Like I said before, if the US weren't a racist nation, Mexico would be our closest ally while canada would still be a 3rd world country...or, better yet, an extension of Russia.
