Looks like that site is detailing legal action taken against companies who are effectively defrauding their customers by selling them pirated software.

I don't see what the problem is with that.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Neither. Despite not working at all with Windows these days (other than to test websites), I still get clients regularly asking about how to 'fix' their copy or copies of Windows that has de-activated. Most of the time it is due to a technician installing a pirated copy of Windows, charging the full amount for it - and when the user runs a software update, they get busted.

I'm not going to shed any tears for stores that sell pirated copies of software and make their customers think it's the real thing.

Heck, I'll bet a bunch of those stores are the same outfits that send out those irritating spam e-mails advertising cheap software.
