I have a tv and an xbox and the TV has been in storage for somewhile and it looks like the RCA yellow hole is broken, the right and white audio is still coming through. there is another input option S-video + red and white RCA holes, or the coaxial. I also have a cabel line running to the tv from the wall. what is the easiest and cheapest way. can I use one of those coaxial bypass things like they had for sega genesis? or is s-video the better option?

S-video will definitely give you a better picture.

I'm not sure what this "coaxial bypass" thing is supposed to be ?
Do you mean a RF modulator ?

it was this adapter that would connect to your TV cable input and if you were to go to channel 3 and turn on the sega, the sega would override the cable's input and display the sega game

It's called RF modulator.

S-video gives you a better picture, and should be cheaper to buy.

RF Modulators have a nasty habit of screwing with the cable channels when you are not playing a game too.

Get S-vid.

The video quality is going to be fairly crappy, your channels might have problems, and MadCatz is notorious for making crap. You would have been better off getting a $6 S-video cable from Wal-Mart.
