My girlfriend bought a Macbook through Apple and got the free printer deal. This week she's gone to fill it out, but she's thrown out the original printer box.
Does anyone know any way to get around needing the UPC? I've seen rumors of lost UPC forms but haven't been able to get a hold of anyone human at Apple. I've tried the Apple Store were we bought it and they of course said we need the UPC to get the rebate.

You might be able to call the company and get an RMA#, then send in the rebate with a copy of the original receipt.

Well, everyone so far has said we need the original UPC. So any way around this will have to be through Apple.

Visit a large computer store like a Fry's and see if they have any in return. Ask if they can cut off the UPC from the box for you. I did this once for rebate on a HDD. They were confused at first, but then the manager came over and cut the UPC off the box from one of the damaged returns.

I threw away the product box. Is there anything I can do to still get the rebate?
No. You must provide an original UPC label in order to receive a rebate.
From Apple's rebate page.
