Somewhat alarmist reporting linking Apple's latest moves yesterday and the launch of eMusic in the UK.

It'll be interesting to see how this pans out...

A problem has occurred loading the BBC News Player
The BBC News Player is not able to load on your computer at the moment.

That link doesn't work. Java and Javascript are turned on in my browser.. BBC video generally sucks a lot, but at least it shows -- most of the time.

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Anyone want to add this to long list of "Apple is dying" and/or "iPod Killars are coming/iPod is dying"?

I'm sure the eMusic service will definitely kill the iPod in the UK.

They are just creating news. Instead of REPORTING the news, many news agencies now create sensationalized news to grab the attention of the common person.

I can't name the number of times I hear "Will you need your umbrella tomorrow? Tune in at 11" from my local forecasters.

Since eMusic sells mp3s, that is music in digital format *without* any DRM, do they sell any from the big labels?

Is this some kind of independent-music distribution site? Does this compete directly to iTS?

I love emusic. I just found them 2 months ago, but so far I'm very satisfied. Their goofy limited downloads for a monthly fee system is a little annoying... but the prices are so low, that it's hard to complain.

I'm getting 90 tracks a month for $20 bucks. Can't beat that.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.
