So with the introduction of the new iPods, I was excited. My iPod's HD failed in the summer a couple weeks after my year warranty was up. I am a student, and by trading in, a new iPod would only cost me around $200 (20% off, 10% with trade in, 10% student). So I head down here with my girlfriend, and I grab my iPod. I accidently press one of the buttons. It turns on. It works. I have no idea what happened to it, but it's working just fine now.

So I have to save my money for another day. I can't justify buying a new iPod when I have a working one.

Just FYI, if you do decide to get a new one, no more student discounts on iPods.

And your hard drive is probably still dying. Give it a few days.
