Sep. 14 - An elephant at a South Korean zoo has learned how to "speak".

The 15-year-old Asian elephant called Koshick began mimicking words used everyday by his South Korean keeper. Over the past two years, the elephant's diction has improved to the point that he can reproduce discernible phrases and words. Scientists are now hoping to establish whether Koshick can actually understand language.

Oh wow...according to the video most elephants' vocal ranges are between 7 and 10Hz (right?) but this elephant is able to produce higher frequency notes by blowing into his trunk...that's pretty cool.

It's all over folks, now tech support centers will have elephants and dogs working the phones.

They will still be easier to understand than Indians....
