I have this headset for my LG phone that has a band around the top of my head and a stick microphone coming out to my mouth. Looks like a pilot's headset.

The volume is terribly low and with my phone volume on max i can still barely head anyone. I have fine hearing so this is just annoying.

Can anyone suggest a similar headset that can REALLY pump up the volume? This is most annoying when in a car and trying to talk on a phone (while not driving, but being a passenger).

I have a Motorola and, although the volume goes high enough for me, I am not too impressed with the unit for various other reasons. I understand that Jabra makes a few headsets that actually go into the ear canal, though. I'd bet that those would be a bit easier to hear.
