Ok, I love it.

I work in a science institution with a huge database of images (electron, light microscopy, etc). I wonder if any of you is aware how can I create a similar screen saver in which instead the iTunes artwork, I would use the database images I refferred to.

I think it is possible, any tips?

I would work in such screen saver for mac, but in ner future for PCs too.

Let me know and thanks!

For a Mac you should be able to create such a screensaver with Quartz Composer.

Maybe I am missing something but doesn't the build in screen saver let you choose what images to play from whatever source?

my thoughts, too. click that "choose folder". XP can do the same thing with a screensaver setting called "my pictures slideshow".

I don't want a slideshow type of screen saver as Mastrap and scaught suggested.

I'm interested in building a screensaver that would look like the iTunes artwork, but using other images.

I think TETANAL is right and Quartz composer is the way to go, I think is available in the development tools provided in the instalation disks. I have to check.

Thanks
